Research Summary

I investigate the transcriptional links between patterning and morphogenesis during tube formation in D. melanogaster oogenesis; to do so, I analyze gene expression changes that relate patterning tube-forming fate and synchronizing cellular movements. I also examine how cell types integrate distinct functions to form different parts of the tube.
