Research Summary
I work to develop the Enveloped Protein Nanocage (EPN) platform within the King Lab; these were developed by taking the computationally-designed, 60-monomer nanocage and adding motifs that allow them to exocytose from mammalian cells in a multi-cage vesicle. Specifically, I’ve engineered and leveraged transmembrane proteins (TMP) to add further functionality to our EPN platform.
