Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

Fostering diverse and inclusive laboratory environments is a key tenet of my personal philosophy. My lab values diversity in all its forms, including neurodiversity, socioeconomic background, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and physical ability, and we recognizing the unique perspectives and talents each individual brings. A lack of representation is a huge barrier for URM students in pursuing academia as a career, and I have made it my mission to help change that.
