Computational peptide design for targeted therapeutics

Bhardwaj Lab is developing computational and experimental tools for the high-throughput design of peptide-based therapeutics. We aim to systematically enumerate the design principles for peptides with enhanced membrane-permeability, oral bioavailability, and blood-brain barrier traversal. Current projects in the lab are focused on designing bioactive peptides against clinically-relevant molecular targets in drug resistance, chronic pain, and neurodegenerative disorders.
