Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement
I have mentored underrepresented minority students including summer undergraduates and graduate students (including service on graduate advisory committees of ~8 students). I currently serving on the mentoring team for a minority Infectious Disease fellow. As part of several search committees, I participated in multiple training event at Fred Hutch and UW focused on unconscious bias and related topics.. I served on the Fred Hutch Ethic Oversight committee for over 15 years and have led multiple ethics training discussion groups.
