Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

As Associate Professor at UW, I have approximately 7 years of experience in training a diverse group of graduate and postdoctoral students. Most of the trainees in the lab have been supported by various fellowships, ranging from Immunology or CMB graduate training grants, F31 and NSF awards, as well as the Washington Research Fellowship. In addition to providing robust scientific mentorship, I strongly support diversity and equity in my laboratory and commit to training, mentoring, and providing a safe and supportive environment for all my trainees.
