Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

Everyone is welcome to learn with us about plant genomes and gene regulation! Our group is deeply committed to educational outreach. We direct a longstanding NSF-funded summer research program for undergraduate students from diverse socioeconomic, educational and geographic backgrounds. Former participants have joined the lab for postbacs, obtained their PhD at GS and elsewhere or work in biotech. The first program participants are now faculty members!
