Research Summary
I am interested in studying antibodies that develop in people infected with HIV, with the goal of better understanding how to elicit protective antibodies against HIV and informing vaccine design. To do this I am developing a high throughput phage display screen to epitope map antibodies of interest, in addition to isolating novel antibodies by sorting B cells from Kenyan HIV+ PBMC samples. Currently also working on understanding the antibody response to SARS-CoV-2.
