Research Summary

The treatment of hematological malignancies with engineered T cells has recently emerged as an effective approach to cancer therapy. In the Riddell lab, I study signaling pathways initiated by chimeric antigen receptors and investigate methods by which T cells can be engineered to intrinsically resist inhibitory factors in the tumor microenvironment.
