In your third year as an MCB student you will:
- Continue research in your dissertation lab
- Complete the General Exam
- Hold an Annual Committee Meeting
- Submit an updated Annual Committee Report and Individual Development Plan (IDP) to MCB
Quarterly Milestones
Every quarters credit total should be 10 (except Summer).
The following are quarter-specific tasks and milestones:

Autumn | Register Research Credits: If registering before passing your general exam, register for MCB 600: Independent Study and Research (variable credits: 1-10, Entry code: Faculty Advisor) If registering after passing your general exam, register for MCB 800: MCB Doctoral Dissertation (variable credits: 1-10, Entry code: Faculty Advisor) MCB 600/800 are mandatory courses under MCB Curriculum |
