Exploring the role of innate immune genetic variation in bacterial vaginosis and vaginal bacterial colonization

Defense date: 06/04/2018

Research Summary

My research focuses on how genetic variation in toll-like receptors (TLRs) and regulators of TLR signaling affects risk of developing a common vaginal dysbiosis known as bacterial vaginosis (BV), as well as colonization with BV-associated bacteria.
